Mission Statement:

Our mission is for educational and charitable purposes including a provision of temporary and permanent living quarters for families to live in with dignity.  

Purpose:

Serenity Center will be partnering with organizations to help families who are suffering with the current economic crisis.  Each partnership will be devised for specific purposes according to grant funding requirements and/or communities to be served.

 

Serenity Center actively participates in:

  • United Way of SE Michigan Foreclosure Prevention & Stabilization Coalition
  • State of Michigan 10-Year Plan to End Homelessness - Housing Assistance & Models Work Group
  • Out Wayne County Homeless Coalition - Wayne Metro Community Action Agency

Foreclosure Help:

visit www.fightmortgageforeclosure.com.  This is a FREE  online service where residents enter their data.  You will be contacted by a foreclosure counselor who will help you navigate with your mortgage service provider.  This is a legitimate service through Wayne County, and not one of the many scams.  You will also gain valuable information on other services and programs that you may be eligible to participate in.

Free Credit Counseling is Available through Federal (HUD) and State (MSHDA) Certified Agencies.  NEVER pay for credit counseling services.
